How do I export an Excel Spreadsheet of e-mail addresses to Yahoo?

I have converted the Excel spreadsheet to a CSV file, but Yahoo doesn’t seem to give me the option to transfer it. Can someone give me detailed instructions on how this is accomplished? Could the spreadsheet be missing some required data?

first you sign-in into your Yahoo! mail account.
then in top right corner you must be able to see Options
Options – Import Contacts….
or visit http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/transfercontacts
Select "A Desktop email program(…….)
Click browse and select the path of your csv file.
select the contacts and click on Import
(*.*)
Does this process add addresses to an existing address book or over write the entire address book?
