Can anyone tell me what is the difference between yahoo search scan and mcafee site advisor?
Both of these things are both made by mcafee but are they both needed? I have mcafee site advisor plus version that comes with mcafee total protection if that helps. At the moment i turned yahoo search scan off from my yahoo search engine.

The only difference is that when you are searching on yahoo it will scan what you have searched to see if there are any viruses or trojans. McAfee site advisor actually tells you what sites are dangerous to your computer the red means steer clear the yellow is warning you that there is adware on that site or pop-ups, the green means it is safe to go on.
