What is the best image file format to use in microsoft office 2003?
I have a corporate logo that needs to be represented in 100% color accuracy.
the original file is both an eps and an adobe illustrator vector image.
What file type should be used in microsoft word documents?
I am afraid of using higher res tiffs for their file size (but great color accuracy).
I am afraid of using jpegs and gifs for their inaccurate colors.
What is the proper format?

You should be able to get away with a gif, but if you're not happy with gifs then try a png format.
Just thinking, you should be able to us the eps file.
Download this free tool, it's has ahandy conversion option. Click File and then select Batch Conversion/ rename.

Convert the orginal eps to a few differnt formats, play around with it to see which is best for you.
