In Microsoft Outlook, how do I start using the data file I already have?

I used to save my emails in a different folder earlier using Microsoft Outlook. I had to install Outlook again, but when I change the path to my earlier data file, it does not show my old mails. Any Help?

You can follow the following steps:-

    1) Goto Run–> Type "Outlook".
    2) Select Menu File–>Import / Export.
    3) Select Import from Another Programs / Files–>Next–>Select Personal Folder File (.pst)
    4) Browse the location that you have saved the mails. (default will be Type –>%userprofile% in RUN Window.. Select Local settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\….pst.

    Import the mails from there.
