I just did a system recovery to debug my computer from a really nasty malware that had hijacked my computer. But now my microsoft is asking for my original pin to register it again only I’m not sure if I still have it. Is there another way to use microsoft without having to buy a whole new package?

I have just upgraded my satellite internet package, and it is still taking me 2 hours + to upload a tiny video clip. What the heck? Is all satellite internet this slow or what? I'm using Xplornet Internet.
Unfortunately, due to our location in a valley, satellite or dial-up are our only options. We can't even get a cell signal down here!

Anyway, I think it might have something do to with youtube, as I was able to upload my clips onto dailymotion without waiting an eternity.

I’ve heard alot about this "Internet 2" being implemented. It would supposedly restrict access to sites that may be considered a threat to "Homeland Security". Also, it would put major restrictions on free speech on the internet. Would it be possible to restructure the internet in a way that would make these things possible?

Any techies out there please chime in as to whether this is even possible or something to be concerned about.

I've been considering adding Adsense to some of my websites, but I'm not really sure I feel comfortable providing Google with all the private information they are requesting. Before I go through the headache of setting it up, I'd just like to get a feel from others — do you like Adsense? How much do you make in a month? We have internet service on our desktop computer. We also have a router so my daughter gets internet service on her netbook. But, she is planning a vacation away from home and still wants to be able to use her netbook to access the internet. What do I have to do/purchase in order for her to be able to use her netbook away from home?
